This pure and serene photo shoot from Bast Magazine shows how powerful the colour white can be. Shades of ivory, snow and cream create subtle shadows and delicate layering, making the ghostly form look immaculate and flawless. Styled with Bjorg jewelry, a brand whose aesthetic draws on macabre concepts, the ‘Wild Horse’ neckpiece and bracelet add distortion and circular shapes to a fluid ensemble. The tassel chain glasses initially hide the identity of the model, portraying sadness with the cascading chains which form golden tears down her porcelain cheeks. The shoot is styled by Mette Krogsgaard and follows a sports luxe theme with a frosty Scandinavian twist - who said white isn’t the new black?

Take a look into the mind of our Norwegian brand Bjorg with their new video for 2012 ‘Heresy’, shown above. Beautiful models Maja & Julie act out a story drawn from mythological tales, playing with some seriously dark and surreal romantic fantasies. You probably shouldn’t try this at home.
The collection makes up an odyssey of imagination, mystique and poetry - something that could only be perfected by a brand who prides themselves on the ethos ‘beauty in imperfection’.
